Our client, a leading firm in the surveying sector, is currently seeking Utility Surveyors and Senior Utility Surveyors to join their team. This permanent role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in utility surveying and GPR, looking to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed utility surveys using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other surveying equipment
- Performing back end processing of survey data to ensure accurate and comprehensive results
- Managing and supervising survey teams on-site to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Interpreting and presenting survey data to stakeholders, including preparing detailed reports
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their needs are met
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior surveyors within the team
- Contributing to the development and improvement of survey processes and methodologies
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in utility surveying, including the use of GPR
- Proficiency in back end processing of survey data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage and supervise teams effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full understanding of relevant industry standards and safety regulations
- Relevant surveying qualification or equivalent experience
