Matchtech is working with a well-established UK regional airline operating a modern Embraer E190 fleet from London City Airport. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on supervisory role within line maintenance, leading licensed engineers in one of the UK's most distinctive and operationally demanding airports.
The Role
As Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be the on-shift engineering lead, responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of line maintenance activity. You will coordinate daily work scopes, manage defect rectification, support AOG recovery, and provide clear leadership to ensure operational continuity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of Licensed Engineers during live line operations
Ensure compliance with UK CAA Part 145 requirements
Coordinate scheduled and reactive maintenance activities
Manage defect rectification and AOG support
Promote a strong safety, integrity, and continuous improvement culture
Act as the primary engineering point of contact during your shift
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
UK CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B1/B2 licence (mandatory)
Minimum 5 years' certification experience
At least one current aircraft type authorisation
Proven experience leading or supervising engineers in a line maintenance environment
Ability to obtain airside access and airside driving permit
Full UK driving licence (or equivalent)
Desirable:
Embraer E190 type rating (type training available for suitable candidates)
