Our client, a prominent player in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their dedicated team at London City Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, urban environment with a focus on maintaining a modern Embraer fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine servicing and defect rectification on Embraer E190 aircraft
- Ensuring compliance with CAA Part 145 procedures
- Contributing to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) recovery efforts
- Maintaining safety, compliance, and performance in a high-pressure environment
- Utilising the latest technology to meet operational challenges
- Participating in both scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
- Collaborating with a team to ensure precision engineering
- Ensuring excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving
Job Requirements:
- UK CAA Part 66 B1.1 Licence with at least one type rating held
- Ability to hold an airport restricted pass and airside driving permit
- Experience in scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance
- Good knowledge of current CAA Part 145 procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Embraer 190 type rating is desirable (training will be provided)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
