Our client, a leading provider in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a dedicated B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the chance to work with Airbus H135 rotorcraft, focusing on the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair. This position is based on a Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life routine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations
- Accomplish maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by the nominated LAE Supervisor
- Lead teams to ensure continued safe operation of aircraft
- Complete maintenance on airframe structure, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems
- Replace avionic line replaceable units and conduct simple tests for serviceability
- Supervise mechanical fitters and certify their work
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, component, and composite technical work in workshops as required
- Assist in the day-to-day running of the aircraft hangar, including aircraft movement and general housekeeping responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Airbus EC 135 / H135 helicopters (Desired)
- Strong background in rotary aircraft maintenance
- CAA certification
- Ability to work to high standards in a team leader capacity
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills
- Understanding of engineering operational support to flight operations
- DBS Security Clearance and eligibility for SC clearance
