Key Responsibilities:
Leading the streetlighting engineering team, including managing and mentoring 4 direct reports
Overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of streetlighting systems
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices
Managing budgets and resources to deliver cost-effective solutions
Conducting site inspections and audits to ensure quality and safety
Providing technical advice and support to internal teams and external stakeholders
Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation
Collaborating with senior management and other departments to achieve project goals
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in streetlighting engineering within the highways sector
In-depth knowledge of streetlighting design principles and technology
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent project management abilities, including budgeting and resource allocation
Proficiency in relevant industry standards and regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct detailed site inspections and risk assessments
Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
