Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Maintenance Professional with a focus on Supply Chain to join their team in Samlesbury. This is a 12-month contract position that requires on-site presence and contributes critical support to the Military, Air & Information business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance processes within the supply chain
- Ensuring the integrity and efficiency of supply chain operations
- Implementing and monitoring maintenance schedules and procedures
- Collaborating with various departments to streamline supply chain activities
- Identifying and mitigating any risks associated with the supply chain
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant security protocols and industry standards
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and performance
- Providing regular reports and updates to the management team
Job Requirements:
- Experience in supply chain management within the Defence & Security sector
- Strong understanding of maintenance processes and procedures
- Ability to work on-site in Samlesbury under fully on-site hybrid arrangements
- Active Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain one
- Understanding of ITAR and UK Eyes-only restrictions
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
