Our client, a rapidly expanding company in the procurement supply chain sector, is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to join their newly restructured procurement function. This is a permanent role based in their London office operating on a hybrid model with three days in the office per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end procurement service
- Review the supply chain, address single-source dependencies, and expand the supplier pool
- Drive value through Request for Proposals (RFPs) and competitive bidding processes
- Engage with senior stakeholders with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Select and implement new procurement systems as required
- Enhance structure and governance within the procurement function
- Work closely with office and site-based teams, showing flexibility and adaptability
- Support long-term frameworks with high-profile clients
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in strategic procurement leadership, ideally within the energy, EV or infrastructure sector.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills
- Demonstrable resilience and ability to engage effectively with senior personnel
- Experience in using existing frameworks and processes, with the ability to establish a procurement function servicing all areas of the business
- Understanding of high-value CAPEX and OPEX categories
- Proficiency with procurement systems and/or processes
- Ideally CIPS qualified or equivalent with an understanding of NEC/JCT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with significant gravitas
