Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, based in Samlesbury. This role is pivotal to the Air Business Unit and requires attendance on site three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on the F35 project
- Collaborating within a team that includes both permanent and contract staff
- Managing electrical installation tasks, excluding circuits
- Focusing on harnesses and 3D harness work
- Utilising CATIA V5 and Teamcentre software
- Contribution to the checking process in due course
- Supporting ongoing projects with significant workloads
Job Requirements:
- BAE-Electrical designer skills
- Experience within the aerospace
- Proficiency in CATIA V5
- Strong understanding of electrical installations and 3D harness work
- Flexibility to work on site in Samlesbury for three days a week
