Our client, a leader in the highways consultancy sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will support the Project Lead within the Environment & Infrastructure team. The role involves proactive project management and delivery across a range of workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and delivering infrastructure projects.
- Providing project management and coordination to support the EV Project Lead
- Monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial control
- Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of pilot projects, including lamp column charging, cable channels, and flat and flush technology trials
- Developing and implementing a city-wide delivery pipeline as part of a Climate Change Action Plan
- Supporting the development of a communications and behaviour change strategy
- Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and tailoring communication effectively
Job Requirements:
- Experience in delivering infrastructure projects
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Proficiency in budget monitoring and financial control
- Experience in delivering projects at pace and to a high quality
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and tailor communication accordingly
- Proactive and capable of working independently
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
