Our client, a prominent company in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team on a contractual basis. The position is located in Warton with hybrid working arrangements of 2-3 days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and management of complex systems engineering projects
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure the successful delivery of systems solutions
- Create and review systems engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with Defence & Security standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues
- Conduct systems integration, validation, and verification tasks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements
- Ensure all work aligns with Security Clearance (SC) requirements and stringent security protocols
- Facilitate efficient communication and coordination within multidisciplinary teams
