Our client, an industry leader in specialised and innovative solutions for aviation's most complex challenges, is seeking a full-time Avionics Fleet Support Engineer to join their experienced CAMO team based in Doncaster or Lasham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and assessing Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs) related to avionics
- Supporting maintenance teams with effective troubleshooting of avionic issues and defects
- Liaising with avionic Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as required
- Controlling aircraft software status and updates, and managing the aircraft software library
- Overseeing configuration settings and ensuring configuration control for avionic systems
- Managing avionic component repairs and tracking SB/modification status
- Handling subscriptions for Navigation data, EGPWS data, and other avionic services
- Monitoring stock holdings and support contracts for avionic systems
- Tracking reliability of avionic components and systems
- Supporting avionic upgrades and modification programmes
- Monitoring future avionic requirements and ensuring compliance actions are met
- Supporting integration and interface with Mission systems
- Collaborating closely with Mission system engineers
- Assisting with MEL/IDE compilation
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a CAMO, Airworthiness, or Technical Support role
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Understanding of Part M and CAA regulations
- Experience with Garmin G1000, Collins Proline 21, and 737NG Avionics suites
- Right to Work in the UK
- Ability to pass a company-sponsored Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) and/or Security Check (SC) Clearance
- Full UK driving licence
