Our client, a major contributor to a high-profile rail infrastructure programme shaping the future of UK transport, is seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance across all phases of delivery with a strong knowledge of buildings, civils and structures.
As the Quality Manager, you will be the central figure for all quality-related matters on site. Your duties will include:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for quality across the project
- Assisting the project team in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
- Reviewing ITPs submitted by subcontractors for compliance and completeness
- Regularly reviewing and updating the Quality Management Plan (QMP)
- Participating in progress meetings and reporting quality concerns to senior management
- Collaborating with Construction Managers to ensure quality processes are implemented on site
- Conducting inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and standards
- Supporting teams in compiling and submitting quality documentation packages
- Managing non-conformities and driving performance improvement actions to closure
- Providing quality input into supplier pre-qualification assessments when required
Job Requirements:

- Proven experience in quality management within large-scale infrastructure or rail projects
- Strong understanding of construction quality systems, ITPs, and QMPs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
