Our client is seeking a Quality Manager for a long-term, full-time contract position, based in the Huddersfield region. This role is integral to a large rail infrastructure project, with hybrid work options available and falls inside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and overseeing quality assurance frameworks for the project
  • Defining operating protocols to ensure consistent quality execution
  • Running root cause analysis workshops to identify and solve quality issues
  • Managing non-conformance close-outs efficiently
  • Scheduling and conducting audits and site surveillance activities
  • Leading a team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
  • Collaborating with other project stakeholders to uphold quality requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in quality management, particularly within the rail or civil construction sectors
  • Strong skills in quality engineering and assurance
  • Previous experience leading a quality management team
  • Ability to develop and implement effective quality assurance frameworks
  • Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and non-conformance management
  • Understanding of audit processes and site surveillance practices
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with large infrastructure projects is preferred
