The Role


An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Ground Investigation team. This position offers the chance to work on a range of technically challenging and high-profile projects across the UK.
This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for someone with strong site management and project delivery experience who is looking to take ownership of complex ground investigation contracts and help drive continued operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


  • Act as Project Manager or Site Agent, overseeing the successful delivery of ground investigation projects from planning through to completion.

  • Supervise and mentor Graduate and Junior Engineers, supporting their technical and professional development.

  • Hold regular meetings with operational teams to review performance, compliance, and project progress.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered in line with agreed specifications, scope, and budgets.

  • Support business development and contribute to sales growth, with a particular focus on the Wales and Western region.

  • Attend client meetings to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring clear communication and effective work programming.

  • Oversee and maintain compliance with CDM regulations and Health & Safety documentation.

  • Ensure that ground investigation equipment is properly maintained and available for use.

  • Attend relevant internal and external industry training courses such as PTS, NRASWA, CCNSG, CAT, First Aid, and Manual Handling.

  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and CDM compliance.

  • The ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing project demands.

  • A proactive, positive attitude and a commitment to continual improvement.

  • A valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
