Our client, a leading entity in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a Senior Manager of MRO Operations to play a pivotal role in the development and management of their new Aircraft Maintenance Centre (AMC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and implement strategic AMC project plans aligned with organisational goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and quality are key deliverables.
  • Manage and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and project stakeholders including engineers, mechanics, CAMO support staff, procurement, safety, and quality assurance teams.
  • Oversee the management of project financials by ensuring cost control, forecasting, and reporting are aligned with CAPEX and forecast OPEX budgets.
  • Resolve escalated project risks and issues, making critical decisions to keep projects on track and compliant.
  • Drive digitisation and adopt innovative maintenance strategies that ensure industry-leading safety and efficiency standards.
  • Design process flows for a new AMC that minimise waste and risk, ensuring compliance with GCAA and EASA standards.
  • Establish performance monitoring KPIs and support system development for tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and oversee multiple aircraft maintenance and modification projects, ensuring optimised base maintenance cost-effectiveness through robust planning and execution.
  • Support the integration of multiple maintenance software tools and assist in the implementation of electronic work instructions, digital tooling solutions, and automated warehousing systems.
  • Ensure sufficient, qualified, and trained staff are available through recruitment and headcount growth plans and initiatives.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent qualification as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
  • Fluent in English
  • Significant experience in setting up new aircraft maintenance hangars or MRO environments, including the regulatory approval process.
  • Understanding of AMOS and its applications.
  • Experience with 737 NG and/or MAX endorsements is preferable.
  • Possession of GCAA, EASA or other ICAO type 2 recognised licenses.
