Our client, a prominent player in the T & D sector, is seeking a highly skilled TP141 Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves critical responsibilities ensuring the successful commissioning of transmission and distribution projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and executing the commissioning of T & D projects as a TP141 Commissioning Engineer
  • Ensuring compliance with all TP141 authorisation requirements and standards
  • Conducting thorough testing and validation of equipment and systems
  • Preparing detailed commissioning reports and documentation
  • Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time and within specifications
  • Identifying and resolving any issues arising during the commissioning phase
  • Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring all relevant parties are informed of progress
  • Working closely with National Grid to ensure seamless integration and compliance

Job Requirements:

  • Authorisation as a TP141 Commissioning Engineer or Officer
  • Experience in commissioning within the T & D sector
  • National Grid experience is essential
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in preparing and managing commissioning documentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
