Our client, a prominent player in the T & D sector, is seeking a highly skilled TP141 Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves critical responsibilities ensuring the successful commissioning of transmission and distribution projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and executing the commissioning of T & D projects as a TP141 Commissioning Engineer
- Ensuring compliance with all TP141 authorisation requirements and standards
- Conducting thorough testing and validation of equipment and systems
- Preparing detailed commissioning reports and documentation
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time and within specifications
- Identifying and resolving any issues arising during the commissioning phase
- Maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring all relevant parties are informed of progress
- Working closely with National Grid to ensure seamless integration and compliance
Job Requirements:
- Authorisation as a TP141 Commissioning Engineer or Officer
- Experience in commissioning within the T & D sector
- National Grid experience is essential
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in preparing and managing commissioning documentation
