Our client, a rapidly expanding robotics company in the defence and security, automotive, and aerospace sectors, is currently seeking an HR Manager. This permanent role offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing HR policies and procedures in alignment with global guidelines from the HQ.
- Managing employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Developing and overseeing benefits programmes and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
- Conducting recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires.
- Providing support for workforce planning and development initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in HR management within a STEM or production facility environment, particularly in naval, aerospace, or maritime industries.
- In-depth knowledge of benefits, employee relations, and employment law.
- Experience of working in blue-collar environments.
- Flexible around working hours to accommodate out-of-hours calls.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
