Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a contract basis. The role primarily involves working on infrastructure projects related to waste and spill management within the Severn Trent area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing quantity surveying tasks in line with project requirements
- Managing pre-contract activities and contract negotiations
- Applying NEC4 Option A and C contract protocols
- Conducting detailed cost analysis and budget management
- Supporting the delivery of waste and infrastructure projects
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure project success
- Providing accurate reports and documentation throughout project lifecycles
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the water sector
- Strong knowledge of NEC4 Option A and C contracts
- Proficiency in surveying and cost management
- Understanding of pre-contract and contract negotiation processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Availability to be based in Stoke-on-Trent for 2-3 days a week
