Successful support services business require a Supply Chain Analyst. Applicants should be comfortable dealing with large data sets, understand end-to-end supply chain planning (supply and demand) processes, possess strong analytical skills and literacy in MS Excel (Intermediate) and or MRP/ERP or demand planning software.
The Supply Chain Analyst will join a team of Supply Chain Analysts reporting to a Supply Chain Manager. Responsible for providing data analysis and reports to drive improvements in; supply planning, inventory management, demand planning, the Supply Chain Analyst will help deliver an excellent experience to customers.
Specific duties of the Supply Chain Analyst:
- Monitor and optimise inventory levels
- Contribute to demand planning activity - analysis of customer forecasts, identify and report trends
- Supply planning and purchase order management to ensure adequate inventory levels and achievement of OTIF
- Become a SME in supply chain planning tools, software, MRP/ERP etc.
- Support Supply Chain Manager with continuous improvement activities
Supply Chain Analyst applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience working in; supply chain planning, demand planning, forecasting, inventory control, supply chain analysis , data analysis or as a business analyst
- Intermediate MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, and basic formulas)and/or skilled in MRP, ERP or demand planning software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Analytical and numerate
- Interested in developing a career in supply chain, supply chain planning and supply chain analysis
