Our client, in the highways sector, is seeking 2x NEC Site Supervisor's to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing various transport and highway projects, ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and maintaining high standards of construction quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a Supervisor during the construction phase as per the NEC4 contract.
  • Ensuring works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, including testing materials and workmanship.
  • Managing the defects process and recording results of on-site tests.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and supervision through regular site visits.
  • Supporting the NEC Project Manager by ensuring contractor compliance with the Works Information.
  • Providing technical solutions and issuing directions as necessary.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance in line with legal requirements and highway legislation.
  • Keeping detailed records and operating information systems efficiently.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in supervising on-site works under NEC4 or similar contract agreements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of highway engineering, quality control, and material testing.
  • Understanding of DMRB standards, CDM Regulations 2015, and highway legislation.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic skills in Microsoft Project and NEC CCM.
  • Previous experience in a construction supervisor role is essential.
  • Hold a relevant CSCS card and a valid UK driving licence.
