Geo-Environmental Consultant

The company has worked with clients across a range of sectors - including land redevelopment, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals - delivering high-quality technical expertise and innovative solutions.

We are currently seeking a Geo-Environmental Consultant with 1-3 years of relevant experience who is eager to make an impact within a small, collaborative team.

Key Skills

  • BSc in Geology, Environmental Sciences, or another Earth-based science discipline
  • Strong understanding and application of relevant environmental legislation and guidance
  • Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to take on new responsibilities
  • Proficiency in standard IT programs (Word, Excel)
  • Full UK driving licence and permission to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake field investigations to assess ground conditions in relation to contamination, foundations, and drainage
  • Log soils and rocks in accordance with British Standards
  • Conduct soil, groundwater, and ground gas monitoring and sampling
  • Collate and analyse data in line with current UK legislation and best practice guidance
  • Prepare high-quality interpretative reports
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors as required
