Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves ensuring successful commissioning of electrical systems and projects within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the commissioning of electrical systems in water treatment facilities
  • Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and regulations
  • Conducting site inspections and assessments for readiness
  • Preparing detailed commissioning plans and procedures
  • Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Performing functional testing of systems and documenting results
  • Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the commissioning process
  • Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in commissioning electrical systems on clean water projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and standards
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing commissioning documents
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Willingness to work on a contract basis
