Our client, a leading UK infrastructure specialist, is currently seeking x2 Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of major schemes and make a tangible impact on high-value civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the commercial aspects of multi-million-pound civil engineering and infrastructure projects
- Handling valuations, contractual change, compensation events, and cost control
- Working closely with Commercial Managers and clients in a client-facing role
- Navigating NEC contracts (Options A & B) and managing amendments and compensation events
- Making informed commercial decisions to respond to challenges quickly and confidently
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure, preferably with main contractor experience (NEC)
- Experience working with specialist subcontractors
- Post-degree experience in managing multiple live schemes
- Ability to manage your own workload and projects with autonomy and accountability
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and get changes paid
- Confidence in dealing with clients, resolving issues, and communicating at all levels
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, or a similar discipline
