Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with hands-on experience using Wiz and deep technical expertise across major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role is key in strengthening our cloud security posture, managing security incidents, and driving proactive improvements through advanced risk and control measures.
You will collaborate with cross-functional IT, DevOps, and Security teams to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, leveraging automation and best practices to ensure secure cloud environments across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and optimize Wiz for continuous cloud security monitoring and compliance management.
Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and risks across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, and drive remediation efforts.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for security incidents and coordinate escalations as needed.
Partner with software engineering and infrastructure teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and software design.
Monitor industry information technology trends to anticipate evolving threats and recommend security strategy enhancements.
Participate in change and transformation initiatives to improve digital and technology resilience.
Develop and maintain internal controls, documentation, and policies aligned with enterprise risk frameworks.
Provide strategic thinking and guidance on cloud security architecture and tool adoption.
Collaborate across teams to promote professional collaboration, continuous improvement, and a culture of shared security ownership.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Proven technical experience in cloud security engineering using Wiz, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk and controls, and internal control frameworks.
Proficiency in incident response, security issue escalation, and root cause analysis.
Hands-on experience with security automation, DevSecOps tools, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical risks into business impacts.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred:
Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or CISSP / CCSP.
Experience with other cloud security tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Lacework, Orca).
