The Role

PLEASE NO NEWLY QUALIFIED LAWYERS. ONLY MINIMUM 2-4 YEARS PQE.

We are seeking a talented Corporate Lawyer to join our expanding international practice. This full-time hybrid role, based in Manchester, offers the opportunity to work closely with leading lawyers across multiple jurisdictions on a variety of high-value corporate matters.

The work will focus primarily on M&A transactions, investment and joint venture deals, and general corporate advisory work. You'll also have the opportunity to support cross-border projects, collaborating with colleagues and clients across time zones and industries.

This role requires someone confident working independently, as your manager and senior team members may be based in another country. You'll be trusted to take ownership of your workload, make sound judgements, and deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision.

Who You Are

You're not a typical corporate lawyer. You think creatively, act with initiative, and see beyond the legal details to the commercial reality. You're a problem solver, a strategic thinker, and someone who values both independence and collaboration.

We're looking for a lawyer who is:

  • Creative and open-minded, with a passion for delivering practical and innovative legal solutions

  • A risk-taker who enjoys complex challenges and fast-moving transactions

  • An independent thinker, comfortable managing projects autonomously

  • A team player who communicates clearly and thrives in an international, entrepreneurial environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor (UK or other common law jurisdiction) with 2-4 years PQE

  • Solid experience in Corporate Law, including M&A or investment-related transactions

  • Exposure to Banking and Finance matters is an advantage

  • Excellent academic record and strong legal training from a reputable firm

  • Outstanding drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage work independently and handle international client relationships

Why Join Us

  • Engage in international, high-value corporate work with a cross-border focus

  • Collaborate with talented, like-minded lawyers in a boutique, flexible environment

  • Enjoy autonomy, responsibility, and visibility from day one

  • Be part of a firm that rewards creativity, independence, and commercial insight as much as legal excellence
