Are you an ambitious Electrical/Electronic Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge naval defence systems? Our client, a world leader in Signature Management and Power Conversion solutions are looking for a Development/Test Engineer to join a high-performing team. The solutions you will be working on protect lives, enhance mission capabilities, and increase stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms - making a real impact on global defence.

What you'll do:

  • Design and develop system test suites and conduct qualification testing.
  • Capture schematics, select components, and provide technical guidance.
  • Support laboratory and on-site testing, including occasional overseas trials.
  • Document results, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to installation support, test circuit assembly, and other hands-on engineering tasks.

What we're looking for:

  • HNC/HND/BTEC or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with live testing of low-voltage electrical/electronic equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a drive to innovate and improve processes.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours as needed.
