Inspection Assistant - Temp to Perm
Location: Near Southampton
Type: Temp-to-Perm
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 38.75 per week, Monday-Friday
Working Hours: 08:00-16:15 (flexible start times available; early starts welcome)
A long-established manufacturing company near Southampton is looking for a dependable, detail-focused Inspection Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspection activities in line with company procedures, customer requirements, and relevant specifications.
Perform a wide range of inspections, including First Off, Patrol, Last Off, and 100% checks.
Support the inspection of subcontracted components and assist with First Article Inspections.
Accurately complete all relevant documentation, such as NCRs, Supplier/Vendor Ratings, GRNs, and Javelin system records.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace and contribute to 5S and general housekeeping standards.
Work closely with the Inspection Lead to resolve daily operational issues.
Follow all Health & Safety policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.
