Your Role
We are looking to recruit a talented, driven Geotechnical/Geo-environmental Engineer.
Based in our Hampshire office, this role involves the environmental and geotechnical investigation of land for future development. You will work under the supervision of Senior Engineers on a range of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects and sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
Visiting sites to carry out walkovers, trial pitting, soakaway testing, supervising borehole investigations, verification of capping, and gas monitoring
Preparing Phase 1 and Phase 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation reports
Liaising with clients, regulators, site staff, and colleagues within the company
Our Geotechnical and Geo-environmental team has a wide range of experience, undertaking site investigations, coal mining risk assessments, earthworks, land remediation, and complex geotechnical design. The team prides itself on being friendly, supportive, and promoting a hands-on learning environment to foster professional and technical development.
You
Candidates should have, or expect to obtain, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Earth Science, or Geography, along with three good A-Levels (or equivalent).
We encourage and support continuing professional development and offer a clear route for progression within the company.
A full driving licence is essential. You must have access to a car for work purposes, with mileage reimbursed to cover maintenance costs.
