Our client, a key player in the utilities sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis. This exciting opportunity is based at the HS2 Euston Site Offices in London, focusing on large infrastructure and utilities projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules using P6 software
- Collaborating with engineering and operational teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Conducting regular progress reviews and updating project plans accordingly
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Preparing detailed project reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services
- Utilising OPC to enhance project planning and execution
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in project planning within the utilities sector
- Proficiency in P6 software for project scheduling and management
- Previous experience working with sub-contractors or as a main contractor
- Understanding of large infrastructure and utilities works, such as water, waste water, gas, or electrical projects
- Engineering or operational background is highly desirable
- CSCS Card (can be obtained if required)
- Previous use of OPC software is beneficial
