Our client, a leading company in the data centre sector, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Helsinki. This permanent, on-site role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage and implement health and safety protocols in cutting-edge data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project compliance with the company's Safety Management System
- Develop construction stage plans
- Carry out health and safety reporting and analysis of various metrics
- Keep senior management informed of health and safety department progress
- Ensure compliance with relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions and legislation
- Oversee and support the development of method statements, risk assessments, and health and safety permits to work
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, document results and follow up on required corrective actions
- Maintain records of statutory inspections and ensure documentation is available
Job Requirements:
- Experience in health and safety management within the data centre construction sector
- Relevant degree qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
- Understanding of current environmental, health and safety legislation
- Strong communication and computer skills, with the ability to maintain reporting databases
- Ability to work on your own initiative with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility in working patterns if required
