Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. This permanent, full-time role is critical within the data centre sector, contributing to the execution of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending project start-up meetings to understand all project specifications and details
- Managing technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved
- Raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Tracking labour and maintaining weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
- Liaising with main contractors and client-based site teams
- Overseeing coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
- Ensuring materials availability for project completion
- Implementing the commission plan on site and ensuring construction and commissioning programmes are in place
- Generating regular snag lists and managing the handover process
- Scheduling project specifics and coordinating with subcontractors
- Attending general site meetings and addressing action points
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
- Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
- Experience in supervising teams
- Strong M&E project management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to maintain detailed progress reports and manage project variations effectively
