We are hiring for a dedicated 360° Market Data Sales role to drive this vision forward - bringing in new partnerships, closing deals, and ensuring that the next wave of institutional participants selects our firm as their trusted market data partner.
The Product and the Role
We offer tick-level, normalised live and historical market data services. These services are built directly from high-frequency trading infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on data quality and reliability - if the pipeline is wrong, we lose money.
The product's quality has driven organic adoption, with most sales to date coming through word-of-mouth from highly satisfied clients.
You will be the first dedicated end-to-end sales professional focused on building a pipeline of high-value clients. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role carries significant responsibility and provides substantial influence over both the product and the commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Build a pipeline of high-value financial institutions and strategic partners
Sell a premium institutional data product, typically with five-figure deal sizes
Lead outreach and lead-generation for major prospects
Own inbound qualification, handling high-intent leads from marketing and referrals
Close new business and work with existing clients to expand product usage
Represent the organisation at global conferences and industry events
Collaborate with engineering to refine and evolve the product and its delivery
Requirements
3-6 years' experience in business development, partnerships, or sales - ideally within market data sales in digital assets or traditional finance
Strong understanding of tick-level market data, or the ability to learn quickly
An existing network of financial institutions that consume market data
Strong relationship-building skills; people should enjoy speaking with you rather than feeling "pitched"
Comfortable in a dynamic, rapidly scaling environment and excited to shape a growing business line
