Location: Leatherhead, UK (Hybrid - min. 3 days/week in office)
Duration: 12 months

Hours: 40 hours/week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced LNG Operations & Maintenance Lead Engineer to support the delivery of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) deliverables on a large international LNG FEED Project. This is a pivotal role, providing leadership and technical expertise across commissioning and operations, ensuring high-quality outputs and alignment with project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a wide range of LNG Operations deliverables, including:
  • Logistics Requirements & Management Plans
  • Crew Change & Personnel Transfer Plans
  • O&M Workshop Reports
  • Inspection & Maintenance Plans
  • Turnaround strategies
  • CMMS setup
  • Consumable estimates
  • Provide support to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Commissioning & Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Attend HAZOP, Model, P&ID, and plot plan reviews as required.


Education & Experience Requirements

  • BSc / B.Eng. Degree in Engineering or HNC in relevant subjects.
  • 10-15 years of LNG Operations experience.
  • Strong technical writing skills with proven experience in developing LNG Operations deliverables.
  • Self-motivated with excellent planning and organisational abilities.

Project Background
The LNG Project will develop an onshore LNG plant to monetize a gas and condensate field. The design concept, includes:

  • A two-train LNG plant based on propane/mixed refrigerant technology with a total nominal loading capacity of 9.5 MTPA.
  • Single containment tanks for LNG storage, with loading via jetty to LNG and condensate carriers.
