Our client, a prominent organisation within the technolody sector is currently seeking an IT Category Team Leader to join their team.

This is hybrid role inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the IT category team to deliver optimised procurement solutions
  • Developing and implementing IT category strategies to ensure value for money and efficiency
  • Overseeing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement activities accordingly
  • Managing supplier relationships to enhance performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Conducting market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with IT procurement

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in IT category management, with a proven track record of delivering successful procurement outcomes
  • Strong procurement skills, including contract negotiation and supplier management
  • Understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
