Our client, a reputable company within the rail sector, is currently seeking an experienced Rail Surveyor for a long-term contract based in Scotland. This opportunity is outside IR35 and focuses on projects within the railway infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting surveys for lineside civils, OLE (Overhead Line Equipment), and E&P (Electrification & Plant) projects
  • Utilising GPS and modern surveying equipment to gather precise data
  • Processing and interpreting survey data for use by both design and construction teams
  • Collaborating with other professionals and teams to ensure accurate project delivery
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in railway infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in using and processing data from GPS and modern surveying equipment
  • PTS Civils - Surveyor qualification
  • Must hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certificate and a full UK driving license
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
