Key Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic financial advice and support to various departments
- Developing and implementing financial plans that align with organisational objectives
- Conducting financial analysis to inform decision-making and budget management
- Collaborating with senior management to manage risks and opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders
- Identifying and driving efficiencies and improvements across financial processes
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts
Job Requirements:
- Strong experience in finance, ideally with a focus on business partnering
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance within the public sector
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Relevant finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience
