Proven Senior Planning Engineer, with experience of working on data centre construction projects, required to join a leading London based organisation on either a permanent or contract basis (outside IR35).
As Senior Planning Engineer you will take the lead for all pre-construction projects based around the UK and Europe using both ASTA and P6.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the planning process for pre-construction projects in the data centre sector
- Developing detailed project plans using P6 and ASTA
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
- Producing regular progress reports for demanding clients
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
- Providing expert guidance on the data centre construction process from start to finish
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project planning within the data centre construction industry
- Proficiency in P6 and ASTA planning tools
- Sound understanding of the data centre construction process
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience in working in fast paced construction environments
