Our client, a distinguished company in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team. This permanent position involves maintaining and ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft, requiring a focused and detailed approach to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft systems
- Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft types
- Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and compliance
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and aircraft turnaround times
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers when necessary
- Complying with all regulatory and company procedures
- Conducting certifications of electrical/avionic systems as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience in aircraft maintenance
- B2 Licensed Engineer (Britten Norman or Group 3 type rating desired, not essential) - Relevant type training will be provided
- Strong understanding of aerospace MRO practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
