INTeACT Software Factory Engineer

Are you ready to help shape the next generation of cloud-ready, open, modular combat management software? Join us as an INTeACT Software Factory Engineer and play a key role in delivering the modern Software Factory that powers the development of BAE Systems' cutting-edge INTeACT products.

About the Role

As an INTeACT Software Factory Engineer, you'll work as part of a collaborative Agile scrum team to build and enhance the tools and processes that enable efficient, secure and scalable software development. You'll help implement the Product Owner's vision, developing innovative solutions and supporting downstream product integration, including work within air-gapped environments.

You'll be joining the INTeACT New Dev team, which is developing the next generation of cloud-ready, modular and extensible combat management system software. This is your opportunity to directly influence an evolving, high-impact capability.

  • Hybrid arrangements- : Remote with adhoc visits to local site (must be easily commutable to site, may be asked at short notice)
  • Heads required-2
  • Based at New Malden, Filton, Dorchester, Portsmouth or Frimley.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Work within an Agile development team, supporting the Scrum Master and Product Owner to deliver high-value work items.

  • Design and implement new solutions within the Software Factory.

  • Support other developers with design, development and code review activities.

  • Assist the INTeACT Dev team with integration and product testing activities.

  • Actively contribute to continuous learning and improvements in DevSecOps processes.
