Our client, operating in the rail sector, is looking for a skilled Project Manager with a background in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and communications to join their team. This is a contract position focusing on the Network Rail Southern Framework, specifically catering to projects that fall outside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing M&E and communications projects within the rail sector
- Ensuring projects are delivered on budget and within the specified timeframe
- Driving health and safety standards across all project sites
- Creating and capitalising on new opportunities within the framework
- Managing and driving opportunities on frameworks to maximise potential
- Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Overseeing project planning, execution, and completion
- Maintaining thorough documentation and reporting on project progress
Job Requirements:
- Experience as an M&E Project Manager within the rail sector
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on budget
- Understanding of Network Rail frameworks
- Experience with both Mechanical & Electrical and communications projects
- Ability to identify and create new opportunities within project frameworks
- Proficiency in driving health and safety standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a contract position outside IR35 regulations
