Our client is currently seeking a Technical Trainer - (Marine Electronic Controls & Diagnostic),They're aimed at modernising maritime training, based in Gosport. This is a unique opportunity to mentor and train the next generation of marine engineers, employing your professional expertise without the need for prior teaching experience.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering training in Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics
  • Supporting departmental tasks within your skill set as required
  • Maintaining and updating training materials to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Assessing student coursework and providing constructive feedback on performance
  • Ensuring trainee welfare and progression throughout the training delivery
  • Following all security, health, safety, and environmental procedures, while maintaining your own professional development records

Job Requirements:


Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Proficiency in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
  • Proven experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering principles


Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Qualification / Train The Trainer Course or equivalent
  • Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment
