Our client are currently seeking a skilled Process Operator to join their team on a contract basis to work within the water sector. This role is based in Sheffield, with the potential for long-term work with the company. The position is outside IR35, providing an excellent opportunity to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and controlling water treatment processes to ensure optimal performance
- Maintaining and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth operation
- Conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Recording and reporting data in accordance with regulatory and company standards
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members to improve process efficiency
- Assisting with start-ups, shutdowns, and routine maintenance activities
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in process operations, preferably within the water sector
- Understanding of water treatment processes and related equipment
- Ability to interpret and analyse process data
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
