Our client, a leading provider in the rail sector, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis, working on the London Underground infrastructure in Central London. This is a civils-focused role, offering the opportunity to work across various locations on the LU network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing site works relating to civils, concrete works, scaffolding, and bases
  • Ensuring all construction activities comply with London Underground standards and competencies
  • Coordinating and overseeing subcontractors and workforces
  • Monitoring project progress and addressing any issues promptly
  • Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained on site
  • Reporting on project status to senior management
  • Implementing and managing CCTV systems across worksites

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in construction management within the rail sector, preferably on the London Underground
  • Strong knowledge of civils works, including scaffolding and concrete structures
  • Understanding of CCTV systems used within construction sites
  • Relevant LU competencies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work across multiple worksites efficiently
