An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in Transport and Highway Infrastructure to join a client in Oxford. Your main duties include delivering high-profile highway and transport projects across the area, liaising with various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary external design team (highway, traffic and transport) as well as holding budget responsibilities and negotiating funding and income.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £450 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working/working from home arrangements are available.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Delivering major transport, highways and transport infrastructure projects related to active travel and public transport
·Engaging high profile stakeholders and leading on the public engagement programme
·Overseeing the early, outline and detailed design stages of the project
·Ensuring all elements of the programme are delivered on time and within budget
Previous experience in Highways, Active Travel or Transport is essential for this role
Working hours:
- 37 hours a week min
- Monday to Friday
