Strong analytical background with proven experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, and inventory management within a retail or consumer technology environment.

A global technology and digital solutions organisation is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join its team on a full-time, 12 month fixed-term basis in Chertsey.

Role: Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Type: 12 month FTC
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: Chertsey (Onsite during probation / hybrid thereafter)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Key responsibilities for the Supply Chain Planning Analyst will include and will not be limited to:

  • Analysing historical sales data and market trends to produce demand forecasts across retail and online channels.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to minimise stockouts, overstock and aged inventory while managing full lifecycle inventory.
  • Optimising supply chain processes by reviewing supplier performance, lead times and fulfilment operations.
  • Creating data-driven reports, forecasting dashboards and KPI analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Managing future reporting cycles including six-month forward planning and month-end estimations.
  • Collaborating with commercial, logistics, retail operations and e-commerce teams to ensure alignment on supply chain goals.

Key skills and experience required for the Supply Chain Planning Analyst will include and will not be limited to:

  • Supply chain, demand planning or forecasting experience within retail or FMCG.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Experience working within a consumer technology retail environment.

Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge of advanced planning techniques such as S&OP and capacity planning.
  • Experience using planning or reporting systems and supply chain tools.
