The Role:
We are delighted to work on a newly awarded 132kv substation framework in Newport (South Wales), and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.
The activities that you get involved with include:
- Complying with NRSWA and client specifications.
- Ensuring all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalate.
- Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and taking responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
- Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
- Carrying out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlighting/escalation deviations.
- Cooperating in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
If you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:
- We are keen to receive applications from teams or individuals, with a full and valid driving licence.
- CSCS and / or EUSR card needed
- Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
- Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices
