Our client, a leading organisation in the retail sector, is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions to support and optimise IT service management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules (e.g. ITSM, ITOM, CMDB).
Build and customise workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and performance optimisation initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow-related issues, ensuring platform stability and performance.
Work closely with IT and delivery teams to implement best practices and improve service management processes.
Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in an enterprise environment.
Strong hands-on development skills across core ServiceNow modules.
Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) and platform configuration.
Solid understanding of IT service management processes and frameworks.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
