A leading defence contractor requires a Contracts Manager to work on a large training programme. Applicants need previous defence sector commercial contracts management experience and ideally be familiar contracting into (as a prime or subcontractor) UK MOD and central government customers.
The Contracts Manager will join a high-impact and collaborative programme environment, designing and delivering training solutions to the UK MOD. This is an exciting opportunity where the Contracts Manager will support new business opportunities, and manage elements of the in life programme.
Specific duties of the Contracts Manager include:
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver compelling customer and programme aligned, business-winning solutions
- Negotiate a range of contractual change agreements and manage non-routine commercial issues
- Manage customer relationships
- Advise on risk and opportunity management
- Day-to-day contract management (handling data, producing reports, ensuring compliance/governance)
Contracts Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience delivering commercial contract management expertise in a defence or training environment
- Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Deep experience across the entire commercial contract lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible, positive attitude
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC Level)
