Are you a licensed helicopter engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working at the sharp end of operations?
We're supporting a globally recognised rotorcraft organisation seeking a B1 Licensed Field Engineer to support a mixed fleet of modern turbine helicopters across the North of England. This is a field-based, work-from-home role where no two days are the same - from scheduled line maintenance to real-time defect rectification in operational environments.
You'll be trusted to work independently, represent engineering excellence on-site, and play a key role in keeping aircraft serviceable for customers operating in demanding, mission-critical sectors.
The Role
Certify maintenance and repairs on a range of modern Airbus-type rotorcraft
Carry out line maintenance, inspections and fault diagnosis in the field
Operate with a high degree of autonomy once established with customers
Act as the engineering interface with operators, maintaining high professional standards
Occasionally support the main UK maintenance hub during peak workload periods
You'll be fully equipped with company-provided tools and a pool vehicle, and supported by an experienced regional engineering structure.
What We're Looking For
Essential
UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)
Strong knowledge of airframe and engine systems
Confident working independently and directly with customers
Excellent communication and professionalism
Desirable
Type experience on H125 / H135 / H145 / H160
Exposure to Police, Air Ambulance or other specialist operations
