Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Skilled Fitter - Panels Assembly on a contract basis. This role involves working within a dynamic team environment during the initial training phase on early shifts before transitioning to late shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling panels based on detailed engineering drawings
- Working closely with existing team members to ensure high-quality assembly
- Utilising and maintaining tools and equipment efficiently
- Collaborating with colleagues during the training phase and beyond
- Ensuring all work complies with aerospace industry standards
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of assembly processes
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Core fitting skills, with a focus on precision and accuracy
- Familiarity with working with various tools and equipment
- Strong experience in working with composites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Hours on earlies whilst training: 06:00-14:15 (Mon-Thu) / 06:00-12:00 (Fri)
Moving onto lates: 14:15-22:30 (Mon-Thu) / 12:00-18:00 (Fri)
Rates
Earlies: £30.56 UMB (£22.23 PAYE + holiday)
Lates: £35.66 UMB (£25.94 PAYE + holiday)
